Ben Wattelman

Ben Wattelman is an Associate at iAngels, leading the Investments Team and overseeing deal flow and due diligence processes.
Before joining iAngels, Ben was a Software Engineer at Wix, where he developed core components of the company's backend infrastructure with a focus on data streaming and storage.
Prior to his role at Wix, Ben was a Project Manager at ecommerce startup Rise.ai (acq. by Wix). At Rise, he led a non-profit initiative aimed at supporting small business owners during the COVID-19 lockdowns by leveraging the company's technology.
Ben served for five years as an intelligence officer in the IDF Intelligence Corps, where he was trained as a research analyst and led an operational department in charge of providing data-oriented intelligence to elite IDF units.
Ben holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Economics from Tel Aviv University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
